Big Bench (Grande Panchina) are giant benches that are strategically placed at beautiful viewpoints in the Piedmont area.

This is a really nice place and can really be recommended for a stop and just have a coffee and enjoy nature.

10:30 Alice bel Colle is a small village located 8 km from Acqui Terme and just as the name suggests, the village is located on a hill.

A really cozy little village that you can walk around in, there is a cafe and a restaurant (check opening hours if you want to visit it).

The village also has a small lookout tower called "Belvedere", which you can go up for free. During the summer of 2025, the tower will be renovated so it will be closed for parts of the season.

From this you have a magical 360° view of the landscape and all the wine fields in Piedmont.

On a beautiful day you can also see the Alps to the north and northwest, then you will certainly also see one of the highest alpine peaks Monte Rosa on the horizon.

Ricaldone

Enosteria Semi di Vino is located in the picturesque neighboring village of Ricaldone only 2 km away from Alice bel Colle. Such a cozy village and this is the best place in the village, definitely worth a visit where they offer really good classic Italian food.

Enoteca Regionale

16:00 Wine tasting at Enoteca Regionale

Enoteca Regionale is a shop and marketing place for all winegrowers in the area around the city of Acqui Terme. Enoteca Regionale is like a mix of a library and tourist office but for the wines of the region. So if you want to know more about the local wines, this can be the perfect place to start your journey and explore the wine region.

Enoteca is located in the basement of some of the oldest buildings in Acqui Terme called Borgo San Pietro and has origins from the 16th century.

Here you can just drop in and try different wines over the counter without having booked. However, if you want to do a guided tasting, you need to book in advance.
