Acqui Terme is located in the Piedmont region. It is located in a triangle between Milan, Turin and Genoa.
Fly to Genoa
The airport in Genoa is closest to Acqui Terme, it takes approx. 1 hour by car to drive.
Fly to Turin
We usually go to Turin airport most of the year, but not during the winter. From the airport you can then rent a car, it take about 1.30 hours to Acqui Terme on mostly very nice roads.
Fly to Milan
Milan has two different airports called Linate (the largest) and Malpensa. From both of these airports, it takes 1.30 hours to drive to Acqui Terme. Ryanair also flies to Milan and calls the airport in Bergamo "Milano", however it takes 2 hours and 20 minutes to drive to Acqui Terme from Milan/Bergamo.
Car rental
To experience Italy, Piedmont and Acqui Terme and the surrounding area, it is a great advantage to rent a rental car.
There are many different car rental companies to choose from, we usually use Locauto which is an Italian car rental company that usually worked very well for us. Locauto has rental cars at all the airports above, so you can use the same car rental company in all locations.
