Discover the magical vineyards of Piedmont

Some of Italy's most famous quality red wines, such as Barolo and Barbaresco, are produced in Piedmont. But not only these here is also one of Italy's best white wines called Gavi and Italy's equivalent of champagne called Alta Langa.

Piedmont

Here we have included some tips on things to experience in our region of Piedmont. There are a lot of small villages and towns that you can visit and just the road there can be a great landscape experience.

Liguria

Liguria is our neighboring region, located on the Italian Riviera and the Mediterranean Sea. From our winery Podere Tonette it takes just under 60 minutes to go down to the Ligurian coast. Some excursions can be:

  • Genoa, our nearest big city, only takes 50 minutes by train. By car from Acqui Terme it takes about 70 minutes.
  • Celle Ligure, a smaller but really nice sun and beach with a lot of colorful houses near the beach,
  • Finale Ligure, really nice sun and beach and a historic and old city center, by car it takes about 90 minutes.
  • Varazze, really nice sun and beach, by car it takes about 70 minutes.
  • Portofino, the picturesque port on the Ligurian coast, by car it takes about 1.45 hours and is 105 kilometers.
  • Cinque Terre are the 5 small villages that hang out on the cliff edge of the Ligurian coast. They offer breathtakingly beautiful hiking, but please avoid the high season when there are really a lot of people there. From our farm it takes about 2.10 hours by car and is 150 kilometers.
