Cantina Alice bel Colle is located in the village of Alice bel Colle near Acqui Terme. It is located in the middle of a magical landscape with rolling hills and cultivated vineyards as far as the eye can see, breathtakingly beautiful! In the middle of the village of Alice bel Colle there is a tower with magical view that is free to climb and that alone is well worth the visit to the village.
Cantina Alice bel Colle is a cooperative that has many wine farmers connected. They are located in the valley below the village and have a fairly large facility for producing wine.
They also have their own series of wines that have the Alice bel Colle brand. This is one of our favorites when it comes to wine tasting partly because they have good wines, as well as Stefano who speaks really good English and also the tower at the top of the village with a magical view of the landscape.
Cantina Alice bel Colle has a variety of grapes and wines that it produces, including the blue grapes Barbera, Dolcetto and Brachetto and the green grapes Moscato and Chardonnay.
One of our favorites is their Barbera wine called ALIX another favorite is their sprakling wine AltaLanga made from 100% Chardonnay and is a Pas Dose.
During a guided tour, you can see the wine cellar with barrique and botti barrels, as well as the cellar where they store their AltaLanga on the lees in bottles. The wine tasting usually takes place in a room next to the main building where the winemaking takes place.

Alice bel Colle is a small village located 8km from Acqui Terme, and just as the name suggests, the village is located on a hill. The village also has a smaller lookout tower called "Belvedere", which you can climb for free. From this you have a magical 360° view of the landscape and all the vineyards of Piedmont. On a fine day you can also see the alps in the north and northwest, and if so you will certainly also see one of the highest alpine peaks, Monte Rosa, on the horizon.
From our vineyard it is 8 km and takes 13 minutes by car to Alice bel Colle.
